Seoul 2017: Autumn in my heart (Part 1)

Posted by Alyssa

Finally after two years, I’m back in South Korea with my classmates that became my friends when I studied Korean language at Korean Cultural Center. We arrived at Incheon Airport past nine in the evening, just on time for the last AREX train going to Hongik University Station.  It was an easy and smooth 3 hour flight thanks to Cebu Pacific. It was actually my first time to ride Cebu Pacific and I can’t wait to travel more with them. 🙂

On our first day in Seoul, we had our breakfast at Haru and Oneday owned by Super Junior Lee Dong Hae.

We visited the Kdrama shooting location of Goblin, the famous bridge where Grim reaper and Sunny met in the drama.

Near Konkuk University, there’s a cool place for hipsters and young people called Common Ground. It’s a pop-up store built with shipping containers. There are also shops and restaurants around where you can buy locally made clothes and accessories.

We explored the Gangnam district where Korean Entertainment Agencies like SM Entertainment, JYP and Hallyu Kstar Road is located.

We took a break from all the walking and enjoyed the coffee at Line café in Garousil.

Later that evening, we went up at the 117th floor of Seoul Sky, Lotte World Tower.

Fun fact: Did you know I’m actually afraid of heights? Guess how this photo was taken.

On our second day, we visited the Ewha University.

With Razelle, Ruby, Cindy and Carla

Saw this maple leaf and I remembered the line in Goblin “If you catch a falling maple leaf, you will fall in love with the person you are walking with.. – Ji Eun Tak

Later that afternoon, we had our lunch at Gwangjang Market.

Its like turo-turo style where you can choose what to eat. They offer Tteokbokki, Mandu dumplings, Japchae, Fish cakes, and a lot more.

Korean food price ranges from 3,000 – 5,000 KRW per meal.

We spent our evening at Led Rose Garden Dongdaemun Design Plaza.

❤ To be continued… ❤
