Travel: Hong Kong – Macau 2017

Posted by Alyssa

I’m so happy to be back to our favorite city Hong Kong! Upon arriving at the airport we went straight to Citygate outlets. We rode the bus S1 going to Tung Chung.

Tip: You’ll save more money going to the city from Tung Chung MTR than the Airport bus. HKIA Airport – Bus S1 going to Tung Chung – Tung Chung MTR station

At Citygate Outlets you can buy branded shoes like Nike, Adidas, New Balance at discounted prices. Also, do drop buy in their grocery. They sell great tasting food and fresh fruits which includes my favorite Korean strawberries, Japanese sushi rolls and local delicacies!

After unloading our things in our Apartment. We tried riding the Star Ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui to Wan Chai. The ferry ride cost for only 2.50 HKD.

The beautiful view of Victoria Harbour at night.

Don’t missed the Hong Kong street foods in Wan Chai near MTR station. They offer the best tasting street foods in Hong Kong. You can also visit the electronics and cameras at Wan Chai Computer Center just beside the food stalls.

Late night shopping at Langham Place in Mongkok.

Can you spot Jollibee?

Tried these Matcha Ice Cream at Icremeria. So good!

DAY 2: Fabric Market at Sham Shui Po.

After attending an exhibit at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, we went to The Peak Tram. Most people go there by evening so better buy your tickets ahead of time or you can use your Octopus Card as payment.

We celebrated my Mom’s birthday at Bubba Gump which has a nice overlooking view of the city.

Victoria Peak at night.

Day 3: We’re back to Disneyland!!!

We bought our tickets at Sally Travel and Tours in World Wide, Central Station for only 490 HKD.

The overpriced Mickey Mouse Ice Cream. Thankful the taste is good.

Iron Man experience.

You must try the 4D experience. It’s really cool!

We’re so happy to experience the opening day of Stark Expo. We met Iron Man in real life!!!

Star Wars – Jedi in Training.

Group photo with ChewBacca.

With R2-D2!

The magical world of Disney. Awesome fireworks! ❤

Day 5: Eiffel Tower in Macau??? Yes. The Parisian Hotel opened last year and it is beside Venetian Hotel.
