This is my second and last Shanghai diary. Can’t believe its my last day here but very excited for the city tour with Lucy, our tour guide before going home.
First stop: The Bund
The Bund is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. I love the view of the scenery of Pudong Area and Huangpu River.
The Statue of Chen Yi who was the first Communist mayor of Shanghai.
People’s Square
Shanghai Municipal Government Building
Shanghai Museum at the back.
Xing Tian Di Entertainment Complex
I fell in love in this place. So many artsy buildings, restaurants and stores. Too bad we didn’t stay long here.
East Nanjing Road: Shopping time!
I was so happy when i saw the Innisfree store. I wish they would open a store here in Manila.
Lee Min Ho!
Huge white rabbit candies!!!
Tian Mi Jade.
Silk Factory
They showed us the process on how to make silk, where it came from and what will the product will be. They also sell some clothes made from silk. Its kinda expensive though.
Tong Ren Tang: Chinese Medicine
We had a checkup with a Chinese doctor. Beware of it, because when they check your health then they offer you herbal medicines that cost a lot.
Yu Garden and Market. Where we bought some souvenirs and green teas. Its fun shopping here because you can ask for discounts.
Street foods! I didn’t like it though. =( Its not the same taste with what we have here in Manila. I heard if you’re looking for delicious chinese street foods go to Hongkong or Taiwan! =)
Last stop before going to the airport: ERA Intersection of Time. While in Shanghai, don’t miss this stunning acrobatic show that combines fascinating history, traditional Chinese martial arts and stunning special effects. We really enjoyed the show.
That’s the end of my travel diary! Thank you again THEFACESHOP Philippines for this wonder opportunity that i could see Shanghai. You made my first international flight memorable. I will be always grateful. ❤
