Travel Diary: Hong Kong Ocean Park

Posted by Alyssa

We spent our second day in Hong Kong Ocean Park. It wasn’t really in our itinerary but it was requested by my dad because he likes to take pictures of animals. Ocean Park is a marine-life theme park that features animal exhibits, thrill rides and shows.

From MTR Admiralty exit B. You will see Tourist Services, I recommend that you buy admission tickets here because they sell it for only 310 HKD.

2

Ride the bus 629 going to Ocean Park. The bus fares cost 10.6 HKD for adults and 5.3 HKD for children (aged 4-11).

Very cute design of the admission ticket.

Octopus and Sea Horse.

One of my favorite was the Ocean Park Tower. It’s like an observatory where you can see the whole Ocean Park and Hong Kong.

Surreal view from Ocean Park Tower.

Off to Giant Panda Adventure

23

The Red Panda

24

He reminds me of Puss in boots because of his color and tail.

22

The super cute panda! Too bad he’s sleepy when we got there. According to the staff, he’s sad because he miss his family in China.

We had a sumptuous meal at the Panda Cafe.

If you want extreme rides, Hair Raiser is the place for you.

The streets of Old Hong Kong

Coca-Cola game! This reminds me of my childhood, I remembered winning a game like this and got a stuffed toy.

 29

We watched a spectacular performance of Sea Lion.

The cable car, our most memorable ride in Ocean Park. Guess what happened there =)
